The Blue Fin Fun Day

Every term BFFS runs a day of fun races for students in Levels 4, 5,6 and the Development squad.  This day is about introducing the swimmers into the fun environment of competitive swimming while also teaching students about rules and procedures before going into their racing carnivals for their schools.  At the end of the day the students receive a drink and a snack.

Blue Fin’s Beginners Day

For two hours on a Saturday morning twice a year, BFSS organises for new students aged five to ten years old to come in for the morning and have a free lesson and a structured play in the pool.

The older squad swimmers are giving responsibility, with a supervising adult, to organise a barbeque and refreshments throughout the morning and are also encouraged to go around the pool and talk to visiting parents and children about their affiliation and history with BFSS.

This is a great way to introduce potential new clients to our team, have an opportunity to meet the Head Coach and learn about the BFSS philosophy.
